Kate & Krist: A Formal Wedding in West Bend, WI

Five years after Kate Schulz and Krist Poppe first met, the two took a trip to visit the friend that had originally set them up, and also went for a picnic. Kate and Krist undertook all of the planning themselves with plenty of help from the mother of the bride. “Since we live about an hour away, she helped us with a lot of the details,” Kate says. Inspired by the grosgrain ribbon used for their DIY invitation design, ribbons became a major element throughout Kate and Krist’s entire wedding.
