"The dress I wore on the wedding day actually has a really interesting story, because when my dress went away for alterations about four weeks before the wedding, it was destroyed in a fire at the seamstress's place!" says Kimberly. "The staff at Ivory Bridal was amazing in getting in contact with the designer, but unfortunately the dress had been discontinued, so they couldn't send a new one. By some miracle, there were enough scrap pieces of the fabric in a discard bin somewhere in Spain, where the dress was made, to make one more dress. It was a few sizes too big, but thanks to the amazing seamstress, it was altered to be a perfect fit after being rush ordered and delivered just a few days before our wedding."
