Since they both love the movie “Steel Magnolias," Alex opted for a groom’s cake based on the film's confection. “He went big and we actually had a red velvet armadillo cake. It sat perfectly on the wooden stump,” Lauren says. “The looks we got when it was cut open were hilarious. It was definitely a hit of the reception.”
