Lush gardens set the scene for Sara and Brandon's outdoor wedding filled with gorgeous springtime flowers. The Bride Sara Hayhurst, interior designer The Groom Brandon Diem, architect The Date May 26 Sara and Brandon met when they were 16-year-olds in the Buffalo suburbs. They managed to sustain their relationship through high school and college (enduring a long-distance romance until Sara joined Brandon in Boston). One Christmas, on a visit back home, Brandon took Sara for a drive to a favorite secret make-out spot from their younger days. They snuggled, then he pulled a diamond ring out of his pocket. He wanted to start the new chapter of our lives where we started the first one, says Sara.
