Same-Sex Jewish Wedding Ceremony

Andrea and Nicole’s ceremony included sentimental and personal touches, such as having Andrea’s cousin officiate the ceremony. While the brides wrote their own vows, they also incorporated a reading of the Supreme Court’s 2015 ruling on marriage equality. Various Jewish traditions were included as well, such as the ketubah (Jewish marriage document) signing, the wine ceremony and the breaking of the glass.
