Rustic Wedding Cakes

Kim & Randy chose the cakes to go together as a set of three. Having three cakes ensured there was enough to go around for their guest count and also added character. The cakes were decorated on the outside with different ribbons, twine, burlap and small florals. The goal was to give the cakes a classic look, yet for each to be uniquely different. The main cake was topped with a bride roping the groom on another cake. The groom, over the couple’s relationship, had taught his bride to rope and doctor sick cattle when they were riding the range.This topper design was pinned by the bride on Pinterest as just an idea--unknown to Kim at the time, her mother had bought the cake topper because it fit the couple.
