An Elegant Country Wedding in Darby, MT
Kim and Randy met at an outdoor concert at the Lumberjack Saloon in Lolo, MT when Kim walked up to Randy and asked him to dance. The couple met again a few months later at another country dance bar, and then started dating soon after. After a year of dating Randy asked Kim Do you want to get hitched? Kim was shocked at Randy's nonchalant request--he didn't even have the ring on him--but she said yes! The Bride: Kimberly Strain, 25, homemaker The Groom: Randy Jones, 34, inspector with the Department of Labor and Industry The Date: August 2012 The wedding was somewhat of a destination wedding. The bride’s family is from California and the groom’s family was spread throughout Montana & Idaho. The couple had been living in the Bitterroot Valley & wanted the wedding close to their home. Kim and Randy chose an elegant, country wedding aesthetic with a green, brown & cream color palette to focus on the earth tones of the countryside. From the wildflowers, the attire, mountains, the décor: everything was peacefully incorporated into the color palette & theme.
