“My dad passed away seven years ago, so we wanted a way to incorporate his memory into the day,” Erin says. “He was a chef, so many of my memories of him are in the kitchen. Buddy, a culinary school grad and chef himself, also bonded with my dad in the kitchen. My dad loved using fresh rosemary in dishes, so the smell will always remind me of him. To remember him that day, we had a sprig of fresh rosemary at each place setting and Buddy created a rosemary gin fizz for our signature drink.”
