When Rachel and Dave began planning their wedding, they knew they wanted the day to capture the essence of the romantic garden at the French Laundry in Napa Valley, California, where they celebrated their engagement. “The lush greenery, soft lighting and candles were so romantic,” Rachel says, “and we wanted to re-create this feeling on our wedding day.” Arrangements of full, classic blooms like roses, peonies and ranunculus paired with whimsical flourishes and a soft palette of blush, green, ivory, white and gold brought an elegant, English-garden-inspired quality to the Rehoboth Beach Country Club’s ballroom, while strings of fairy lights and plenty of candlelight infused the room with undeniable warmth and ambiance.
