Quincy Cellars Winery Barn Reception

Located in the heart of the largest and oldest Concord-grape-growing region in the world, Quincy Cellars in Ripley, New York, boasts a 130-year-old barn that instantly won Laura and Christopher over. “We were intent on having a wedding that was both intimate and unique and had a formal look with a casual feel,” says Laura. The barn provided the ideal backdrop for the couple’s vision, with its wooden beams, high ceilings and plentiful natural light. To make the space their own, Laura and Christopher filled the historic barn with handmade lace embroidery hoops, an antique chandelier, gilded accents and arrangements of romantic peach, pink and ivory blooms displayed in vintage milk-glass vases. In keeping with their desire to promote the grape region, the couple placed a jar of locally made Concord grape jam at each guest's seat.
