"To complement the sophisticated yet soft, garden-inspired backdrop, I chose to keep the fashion formal but ethereal. My gown was a Swarovski crystal-encrusted, dramatic mermaid silhouette with lace, silk organza and tulle designed by Pnina Tornai," Elena says. "It had lovely lace and crystal straps that I worked playfully for photos. The fluffy, full and dramatic skirt and train offset the structure of the tightly-laced bodice. For the church, I wore a long cathedral tulle veil with custom-designed crystal embroidery along the edges, also by Pnina Tornai."
