Planting Tree with Soil Ceremony

“We each had our parents fill a jar of soil from our homes where we grew up,” says Chelsea. “During the ceremony, our mothers brought us those jars and we used the soil to plant a small tree during the ceremony. The symbolism of two people coming together as one was amazing. We now have the tree at our home.”
