On the way, they stopped at the TCU campus and Taylor ushered Paige into the classroom where they’d first met (he’d gone through four departments at TCU to get permission first). Inside, red rose petals and candles were set up in the shape of a heart. When Taylor proposed, Paige was so stunned she forgot to answer. A thrilled bride-to-be then called her parents with the news and begged them to come to Fort Worth the next day to celebrate. Her mother said she’d try but wasn’t hopeful. That’s when Taylor whisked Paige to dinner, where his parents were waiting -- along with Paige’s parents and some of her friends from home. “It was the most romantic and amazing night of my life!” she says. (Until their wedding, of course.)
