When Paige Gatewoodsat down in religion class, she had no idea that her study partner would become her soulmate; but that academic pairing with Taylor Kelly would change her life. The Bride Paige Gatewood, 22, recent Texas Christian University graduate The Groom Taylor Kelly, 25, sales manager The Date July 30 One night, Taylor showed up in a limo to take Paige to her favorite restaurant. On the way, they stopped at the TCU campus and Taylor ushered Paige into the classroom where they’d first met (he’d gone through four departments at TCU to get permission first). Inside, red rose petals and candles were set up in the shape of a heart. When Taylor proposed, Paige was so stunned she forgot to answer. A thrilled bride-to-be then called her parents with the news and begged them to come to Fort Worth the next day to celebrate. Her mother said she’d try but wasn’t hopeful. That’s when Taylor whisked Paige to dinner, where his parents were waiting -- along with Paige’s parents and some of her friends from home. “It was the most romantic and amazing night of my life!” she says. (Until their wedding, of course.)

For the romantic, refined ceremony, waterfalls of roses trailed from each pew, and arrangements of roses, hydrangea, and delphinium dotted the altar.
With the church an easy choice for the ceremony, the group picked The Corinthian, a renovated bank with stone columns, for a pink-and-white reception party. The modern reception was decorated with round and rectangular tables covered with strawberry taffeta tablecloths with beaded organza overlays, and a pink spotlight of the newlyweds’ monogram illuminated the floor.
The real center of attention was the seven-tiered, amaretto-infused white chocolate cake with pale pink roses and pearl accents.
