Colleen and Russell met in Boston, Massachusetts, and think of New England as their home, despite moving frequently while growing up. So when they began looking for locations to host their wedding, the Northeast region was a given. Wanting a home-style, rustic-chic theme that offered a getaway weekend for their friends and families, the Barn at Flanagan Farm in Buxton, Maine was the perfect fit. “We wanted New England foliage to be the backdrop for our wedding and picked an area and time of year that would do just that,” Colleen says.
