With so many bridesmaids, Katey wanted to get creative and had them carry colorful patterned boxes and or large paper flowers instead of fresh flower bouquets. "The boxes were fun because they added a sense of surprise to the ceremony as guests wondered what was in them," says Katey. "Inside were various wishes Matt and I wrote for each other and our future—some were funny others more sentimental, but it was an unexpected added element to our ceremony."
