With the idea for a minimalist wedding with a modern edge, Michelle and Tennyson picked purple as their signature color and set out to plan a summer wedding. But his unfamiliarity with New York thwarted his close to perfect plan (the restaurant was too crowded and extremely noisy, and the cold weather didn’t help matters). Tennyson, did however, get up the courage to pop the question when the two arrived back to their toasty hotel room, and Michelle happily said “yes!”
