Meant to Be

Kendall and Michael met in Lexington, Virginia, when they both were working as interns at a Young Life camp. Six months in, Michael asked Kendall out. “Our first date was a ski day at Wintergreen Resort,” Kendall says. “My favorite moment of the day was when we took off our skis on the top of the mountain and just talked until we got kicked off by the ski patrol because the mountain was closing.” Two years later, Michael asked Kendall to marry him in the exact spot where sparks first flew.
