To choose her wedding dress, Adina visited Brides ‘n Maids in sunny Santa Rosa, California, which is owned by Ryan’s mother. “She and I spent the day picking out my dress,” Adina says. “It was bittersweet picking out my dress at her shop because my mom and sister weren’t there, but we kept them in the loop by sending them pictures of all our top choices.” Adina went with a classic Maggie Sottero gown in a figure-flattering mermaid-style silhouette; the embroidered lace overlay lent the design an air of timeless elegance. “My mother-in-law stitched in our wedding date and both our parents’ wedding dates on the inside of my dress,” Adina says. “This was a beautiful surprise that I hope to be able to pass down one day.”
