'Love' and Heart Cupcake Toppers

Every dessert at their cocktail reception had some personal flair. On top of a single-tier buttercream wedding cake from Wegmans, Katrina and Russell treated their guests to five tiers of cupcakes. Each had a cutout “love” or heart in the couple’s pink, navy and metallic wedding colors. “The mother of the groom also wanted to make the cake topper, which was a surprise to us,” Katrina says. “It was a play on ‘Ithaca is Gorges,’ a common phrase in the place where Russ and I met.”
