When they met, Leea was out celebrating her friend’s birthday at the same bar where Shane was catching up with a friend from college. Neither of them had ever been to this particular Seattle hotspot before. “It was just dumb luck,” says Leea, who fell hard for Shane and proposed (yes, she proposed) to him four years later. So when it came time to plan their wedding, Leea and Shane’s personal needs took a back seat to those of their friends. “All along, we wanted this day to be a truly fun event for our guests,” Leea explains. “We wanted to make it clear that this event wasn’t just about us, because if it wasn’t for our friends and family we wouldn’t be where we are.” Their ultimate goal: show their guests a really good time.
