Lauren and Andrew had their first virtual meeting several years ago on MySpace.com. They soon met for coffee in person, and ended up chatting for eight hours straight. “We haven’t gone a day without talking since,” says Lauren. He served dishes that were significant in their relationship, and even called Lauren’s mom for her grandmother’s special cupcake recipe. While opening a bottle of wine, Andrew pretended to drop the cork and slipped out a ring box hidden underneath the table. “I said ‘Oh my god!’ about a hundred times before I remembered to say, ‘Yes, of course!’” says Lauren. The two planned a romantic, vintage wedding at a historic train station and museum in Richmond.
