Lauren says she met Andrew in the fifth grade at a school concert, but Andy swears they didn’t meet until seventh grade. Either way, they dated for three months in high school, split up, and then reconnected their freshman year of college. After three and a half years of “grown-up love” (as Andy likes to call it), the two were staying at Andy's parents' house in Northern Michigan to ring in the New Year.
