Knot Tying Ceremony Tradition in Kentucky Wedding

Kelly and Will wanted to keep traditional vows, but searched for a meaningful unity visual. “We found ‘God’s Knot,’ where three strands of rope are braided together to symbolize husband, wife and God who make up the marriage,” Kelly says. The bride created "God’s Knot" out of rope she painted in blush, sage and white, all tied to a ring.
