After meeting through a friend at their summer shares on the beach, it was only fitting that they chose a similar setting -- an oceanfront property on a small island in Newport -- for their September wedding. The Bride Kerry Lubelczyk, 27, account executive The Groom Dirk Braen, 29, production manager The Date September 28 Dirk made his move while he and Kerry were walking home from dinner one December evening. She was stunned when he got down on one knee -- in the snow, no less! -- and proposed. With the bride from New Hampshire and the groom from New Jersey, they decided to meet halfway with a destination wedding of sorts in the quaint seaside town of Newport, Rhode Island.
