Katie Anderson and Anthony Miller met when he joined the company where Katie was already working. “We had a chance to get to know each other and went out for drinks or dinner every so often after work,” Katie remembers. Two years later, Anthony switched to the Pacific Time zone -- he was transferred out to southern California. Katie planned to move out that summer, and when he came back to Kentucky for a visit, he asked her to marry him. The couple wed in the bride’s childhood church, and for the reception chose a modern, loft-style space at a downtown museum. Once those details were in place, she tackled the rest of the planning by way of the Internet and a few cross-country trips. Says Katie, “I had a clear picture of what I wanted: a modern wedding with simple, clean lines -- and a great party!”
