They had clicked instantly and had plenty in common (both had been living in Asia on and off for years -- they met at the wedding of a mutual friend in Singapore), but Julie, 37, a partner in a law firm, had just moved back to Hong Kong, and Chad, 35, a vice president and financial adviser at an investment bank, had recently returned to Texas. In spite of their different paths, the bride explains, their shared passions and experiences made them decide that a relationship was worth exploring.
