Jewish Wedding Ceremony

Can you believe that the Jewish huppah is actually the morning mandap, transformed? It’s amazing how similar Hindu and Jewish traditions can be. The core structure of the mandap remained the same, with only moving the outside pillars to the inside to form the circular roof. Throw in ivory, silver and purple linens, ornaments, and flowers, mood lighting, a pianist and a flute musician, and together you have the makings of a very elegant Jewish wedding.
