When Jenn and Chris planned a trip to Vegas for her birthday, Jenn jokingly told a few of her friends that they were going to come back married. Little did she know that Chris had already bought an engagement ring and was planning to propose that weekend. At the Bellagio, Chris told Jenn he’d figured out what to say when people asked about the trip. “I opened the ring box and told her, ‘We didn’t quite get married…. So Jenn and Chris researched sites and finally chose a place in Austin. Unfortunately, it was struck by lightning and burned to the ground! But while visiting San Antonio they stopped in at Jenn’s favorite hotel, the Havana Riverwalk Inn. “While walking through the arbor, Jenn stopped and said, ‘Wouldn’t this place be perfect for our wedding?’” Chris remembers. With just a few months to go until their April date, they readjusted their wedding plans and went full steam ahead for a San Antonio wedding.
