Intimate Hardy Farm Forest Ceremony

The ceremony took place in a small clearing in the woods, just a short walk from the farmhouse, lending the occasion an undeniable sense of intimacy. Though rain threatened all day, it held off and allowing a soft light to filter through the trees. Keeping with the rustic feel of the setting, the couple decorated the space with a simple wooden arbor bearing cascading vines and clusters of fresh ivory hydrangeas with a wild, untamed vibe. “We were lucky enough to have a friend officiate the ceremony, who is a terrific storyteller with a keen sense of humor and a warm Scottish accent,” says Emily. “I love that when we watch the video of the ceremony that laughter is what shines through the most.”
