"We're both from the Detroit area, so having our event take place there was a top priority for us," Ashley says. "I booked our venue while we were still living in San Francisco, after only looking at it in photos online. That Christmas, while we were home visiting family, we went to tour our venue and I will never forget walking into the ballroom for the first time!"
