Heather and Robert (Rob) met on Match.com. After talking online, the two made plans to meet in person in New Braunfels, where Heather was living. “I got lost getting there from Austin, and Heather talked me through it,” Rob remembers. “I was so nervous, but she swept me off my feet.” They had their first ‘real’ date the weekend of Heather’s birthday, and exactly one year later Rob planned a special surprise for her. The Bride Heather Andrews, 35, occupational therapist The Groom Robert (Rob) Dunlap, 37, consultant The Date March 10 Heather had moved to Corpus Christi, and Rob arranged a private sailboat ride on the bay. “As the sun was setting, Rob proposed,” Heather says. “He tried to get down on one knee, but I was afraid the ring was going to end up in the water.” Once the two were back on shore, they went out to celebrate at a favorite local restaurant, where Rob had even convinced them to add a few of Heather’s favorite dishes to the menu.
