James proposed to Chelsea during an annual December weekend with Chelsea's family. As the men went around the table giving toasts, James ended his with the proposal. "As you can imagine, everything after that went blank for me. I was hysterically happy and still cannot put into words how remarkable the moment was; everyone was tearing up, particularly my dad, who said he saw my whole childhood flash before his eyes," says Chelsea.
