Mike and Lindsay agreed that her engagement ring should be a surprise, so Lindsay created a Pinterest board with ring styles she liked to give Mike a few hints. “When I showed him the emerald-cut diamond, he said he hated it,” Lindsay says. “He said it didn’t seem sparkly enough, so I stopped looking at them. I was so shocked when Mike showed me my ring—it was the most beautiful emerald with a halo. And boy, does it sparkle! I get compliments everywhere I go.”
