Elegant Lace Gown

“I must have tried on at least 50 dresses before, in a funny twist of fate, my mom stumbled upon her own wedding dress,” Mary-Stuart says. “Turns out, it was exactly what I was looking for!” She was able to salvage almost all of the lace from her mother’s gown, which her seamstress used to create a mock turtleneck bodice for a simple, ivory satin dress that served as the “canvas” for her dream gown.
