“Since Adam is from Western Australia and I’m from San Diego, we were trying to think of a place that was at least an attempt to meet in the middle,” says Bailey. “We had been playing with the idea of Hawaii, and after a bit of research, as well as talking to my parents who got married on Kauai, we decided on the island. Neither of us had been there before, nor had most of our friends or family, so it was great to have a place that was pretty much new to everyone.”
