Custom-Designed Ivory Sari

“I wanted to be the ultimate Indian-American bride,” says Deepa. “My parents were born and raised in India and I've traveled to India over 15 times. My Indian culture was very important to me. Additionally, given that I grew up in America, I have seen brides in gorgeous white wedding dresses since I was a little girl. So, I wanted the perfect ivory wedding sari.” On a trip to India one year before the wedding, she had an embroidered ivory, lace sari with a gold border and delicate beading made for the occasion.
