When searching for her wedding dress, Liz knew she wanted a gown that felt both classic and unique. When presented with a selection of six elegant ball gowns by her consultant at Madeline’s Daughter in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, a Christina Wu design immediately caught her eye. “I picked the craziest one of the bunch and of course that was the one I ended up liking the most,” Liz says. The gown had intricate, eye-catching beading along the strapless bodice, a full satin skirt, cathedral-length train that tied in seamlessly with the wedding’s traditional vibe. To play up the drama of the gown, Liz added a cathedral-length veil for the ceremony.
