Cathedral of Saint John Traditional Catholic Ceremony

"We were married at the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, which is our home parish and the seat of the bishop of Charleston," Sarah says. "It was important to us for our wedding to be a full nuptial Mass. The cathedral is in the English Gothic style, with an exterior of Connecticut brownstone. The interior is bright and beautiful but solemn, with white plaster, exquisite stained glass and a high vaulted ceiling. We started going to mass there as soon when we moved to town, so it has that added significance to us."
