Buttercream Wedding Cake With Gum-Paste Peonies

Looking to keep things “simple and delicious,” Jackie and John picked out a marble chocolate and vanilla cake with chocolate mousse filling from Rudy’s Pastry Shop. White buttercream frosting covered every tier below a kelly green ribbon and white piping. The green piped border even matched the filigree design on their stationery. For some extra color, the design included pink gum-paste peonies, which matched their centerpieces.
