Ashley & Damian in Altamonte Springs, FL

Ashley Rae Breaux's dad was at a country club wedding more than seven years ago when he approached the event coordinator, Susie Weiss of Wonderful Weddings, to ask for her card. He said, 'This is a great wedding, and I want this card to give to my daughter,' remembers Susie, who asked him when his daughter was getting married. He replied, Oh, not for a very long time. She's not engaged -- she's only 16. THE BRIDE Ashley Rae Breaux THE GROOM Damian Willoughby THE DATE October 28 Susie had long forgotten the encounter until Ashley called her. Now an adult and definitely engaged, Ashley had found Susie's business card where it had been tucked into a jewelry box all those years. Ashley was marrying Damian Willoughby, an Englishman she met when he was visiting Florida to play soccer. The two ran into each other at a club, and it was a moment of instant attraction. We spent the whole summer together, says Ashley, and we have never looked back since. Damian proposed using a wooden puzzle he had made from a photo of the two of them. There was a talk bubble above their heads, with him saying, Will you marry me? Ashley's bubble was missing a piece until Damian handed her the word, Yes!
