After palling around through college, Bricken dropped a diamond ring into a glass of champagne one night and enlisted a waiter to deliver it to the table. When Ashleigh finally noticed it, she fished the ring out and followed Bricken to the mens' room to wash it clean. There on the tile, he dropped to one knee and asked her to be his wife.
