The Bride Hanh Nguyen, 26 and is a resident OB/GYN at The University of Toledo The Groom Brandon Cottrell, 27 and is a shipment supervisor at The Home Depot The Date May 29 Hanh and Brandon packed their quirky, colorful wedding with all the things they love: balloons, buttons, hearts, cupcakes and cute shoes -- and all in a bright, lively color palette of lime green and purple.

Brandon's nephew, Landen, carried a bright fabric ring pillow fashioned by the maid of honor.
A few scattered pink rose petals lined the aisle and two large lime green balloons at the altar were all the decor the ceremony space needed.
To capture a streamlined look, their florist used white IKEA vases on each table, filled with a few pink and yellow blooms.
Hanh's maids wore purple pencil skirts and lilac tank tops. The guys sported Chuck Taylors and skinny lime green ties.
A tower of cupcakes -- in Oreo, lemon blueberry and red velvet -- took the place of a traditional cake.
The custom cake topper was a rendition of Hanh, Brandon and their two dogs, Poot and Noodlebear.
Hanh's soft bouquet tied in the colors of her palette with an assortment of peonies, craspedia, tulips, purple freesia and lime green hydrangeas.
Though she purchased her invitations as part of a DIY kit, Hanh added a personal touch with paper flowers.
Hanh had her heart set on a tea-length dress from the start. Her Dolly Couture gown fit the bill perfectly.
Mini pin buttons bearing each guest's full name dressed up the simple white tented escort cards.
DIY fabric boutonnieres adorned with colorful buttons were the perfect complement to the couple's low-key aesthetic.
After months of searching, Hanh finally settled on this pair of light purple rubbery heels with black hearts.
