An Intimate Outdoor Ceremony at Wild Basin Lodge

“We wanted to feel one with nature so we were surrounded by it,” Katie says. “One of our favorite songs is ‘River’ by Akron Family, so we decided to have our ceremony down by the river. The scene was breathtaking, but my eyes were glued to my soon-to-be husband. Our wedding was incredibly small, with only 15 guests. It rained on our wedding day, but stopped long enough for the ceremony to occur outside. We were going to have it outside anyway, as a little rain never hurt anyone. When we kissed, it thundered so loud! It was so magical!”
