An Intimate Beach Wedding at a Private Residence in Jensen Beach, Florida

Jessica Alessandrini and Kevin Obadia first met when he came to visit Jessica’s boss at a surf shop. Three weeks from their first date, they were engaged. “He put it on my finger, popped the champagne and our lives have never been the same,” says Jessica. They were engaged for a year and six months but planned their wedding in less than three weeks. Kevin and Jessica planned to have their wedding in Jensen Beach, Florida for two specific reasons. “We met in that area and my family lives there so we chose the most beautiful location in the world,” says Jessica. With a short time frame and need to travel from Canada, Kevin’s family surprised him and flew to Florida just in time for the wedding. The couple had an intimate beach ceremony in front of 40 friends and family members. Burlap, lace and white accents were used to decorated the day. Their reception included white linen cocktail tables, burlap and lace wrapped mason jars, a burlap “just married” sign and an ivory rose accented two-tier wedding cake. “Everything was really special down to the last couple hours when the Philadelphia Eagles won the game and I walked around in my dad's Eagles jersey and my mom's dress. The whole reception was enjoying the down to earth feel we gave off,” says Jessica.
