A Vibrant, Modern Wedding at The Mint Museum Uptown at Levine Center for the Arts in Charlotte, North Carolina

Nicole Bullock (27 and works in human resources) and Jimmy Sealey II (32 and an air traffic controller with the FAA) hosted an informal affair with modern touches, lots of clean lines and pops of cheerful colors.

The couple exchanged vows in front of a backdrop made of low billows of brightly colored ribbon, then headed to cocktail hour on a terrace and dinner in a light-filled space. Nicole surprised Jimmy with a playful addition to the fondant cake: “We had the Ninja Turtles peeking out from underneath the ribbon,” she says.

The reception décor featured a combination of teal and yellow linens with bold fuchsia blooms.
