A Traditional Jewish Wedding at Inman Park Trolley Barn in Atlanta, Georgia

Emma Kohlenberg (32 and an ABA therapist) and Ben Cutler (31 and a regulatory legal manager) were both hesitant to give online dating a try but ended up connected on JDate.com. The pair quickly formed a relationship, and within a year of meeting, Ben popped the question early on a Monday morning. "He wanted the proposal to be intimate, personal and surprising -- which it definitely was!" Emma says. For their summer wedding at Inman Park Trolley Barn in Atlanta, Georgia, the couple hosted a traditional Jewish ceremony followed by an indoor reception. The Jewish huppah was draped with white linen and set up on Inman Park Trolley Barn's patio and surrounded with clusters of white hydrangeas. "It was really important to us both to have a traditional Jewish ceremony," Emma says. "Several aspects of the Jewish wedding were just amazing to experience -- from the bedeken to the horah, we will remember all the traditions!" The bride mixed her favorite color, purple, with a soft silver for a vintage-meets-rustic reception. Bunches of soft white hydrangeas and silver candelabras decorated the understated tables. Avenue K catered a kosher menu with a Southern twist that included fried green tomatoes and local beers. As a surprise to his bride, Ben had their band learn how to play "They Love Each Other" for their first dance. "Jerry Garcia is our favorite musician, and it was such a special moment!" says Emma.
