A Sweet Garden Wedding at Rosewood in Pinson, Alabama

From a watercolor aisle runner to bouquet centerpieces, Brandi Mitchell (35 and a medical IT specialist) and Paul Jordan’s (31 and an IT analyst) outdoor wedding was simple and sweet. They started the day with a ceremony surrounded by trees and a romantic wedding arch in the garden of Rosewood in Pinson, Alabama. “I looked at so many places, but upon walking into the house and the grounds of Rosewood, my mind was instantly made up,” Brandi says. To highlight the space, Brandi, Paul and the venue's planner used minimal decor. Flowers I Do placed bunches of greenery, hydrangeas and roses along the aisle as well as on each post of their arbor. A crystal chandelier also added a soft glow to the ceremony space as the couple shared their first kiss. Afterward, all moved to the tented reception. Lines of chandeliers were suspended from the ceiling below white draped fabric as each table was met with black linens. A mix of bright blooms and soft flower petals added a hint of color. "They looked amazing and we also saved a little money by doubling the bouquets as reception table decoration," Brandi says. Brandi and Paul’s wedding cake, which was baked on-site, matched each arrangement as spray roses, craspedia and berries topped the confection. Once Upon A Click captured every coral and neutral detail, as all finished the night on the dance floor. “Our reception was the after-party,” Brandi says. “We stayed until the last minute, dancing the night away and laughing with our guests.”
