Jenny Erdman (26, an ER Nurse) and Luke Ricker (29, a Mechanical Engineer) wanted a relaxed, comfortable, country rustic feel for their wedding. A family friend offered to let the couple hold their wedding at a refurbished barn on their property near Lake Willoughby. Inspired by the location, the couple chose neutral colors as a base color and used romantic shades of pink for a pop of color in the decor. DIY elements like their wooden menu sign, a guest book frame and a birch wood huppah paired with whimsical elements like the mailbox card box, a bathtub used for guest gifts and a canoe used as an ice cooler added a personal touch to the wedding decor.
