A Country, Sunflower Wedding at The Grand Oaks Resort and Museum in Lady Lake, Florida

Inspired by their southern roots, Lindsey Cable (23 and a tennis professional) and Kevin Vermillion’s (23 and a personal trainer) went for the epitome of country with tons of sunflowers and rustic details. We’re talking embroidered ceremony signs, a buttercream three-tiered wedding cake with bright yellow sunflowers and handmade wooden barn doors crafted especially for the ceremony entrance. Of course, their bridesmaids dressed the part with taupe lace dresses and cowgirl boots. Lindsey and Kevin even kicked off the reception with a few country love songs from a local musician, TJ Brown. Now that is how you throw the ultimate southern wedding! Lindsey shares a tip: “Just remember, there will be something that goes wrong, but no one but you will notice!
